I didn't know about his connections with FB... But viral marketing is something that we're kinda used too these days. EDIT: And in my case, the "exodus" has already occurred! It's just a matter of closing the "gates" to spammers on my account, as I don't check it anymore!

As to the email notifications, Facebook changed that some weeks ago. Both for wall posts and messages, you get the complete message in the email, and you can even reply to sender with that email being sent to the email of the person who messaged/wall'ed you! :) It rocks! ;)</description>

Furthermore, Facebook does exacly the same thing. When someone sends you a message you have to check out the website to read it. There's still a considerable difference in terms of ads but the behavior is the same.</description>
